The main character in the book Jim and Me name was Joe Stoshack. He changed a lot from the beginning of the book to the end of the book. For example, in the beginning of the book he hated Bobby Fuller, the guy he took with him back in time. But after traveling back in time with him, he spent some time with him and got to know him. They eventually became close friends by the end of the book. Another small way he changed was that in the beginning of the book he didn't know who Jim Thorpe was, but by the end of the book he knew a lot about Jim Thorpe.
Another character in the book, Bobby Fuller also changed a lot from the beginning of the book to the end of the book. In the beginning of the book he was really bad and hated Joe Stoshack. But by the end of the book, he became a good person and became friends with Joe Stoshack. An example of him becoming a good person is when they were in 1912 and he let Jim Thorpe have his ipod even though it was expensive. Another example of him becoming a good person is that he gave Joe Stoshacks dad his John McGraw book that had a lot of his writing in it, even though it was very valuable.
I like your post a lot, because you have done three on this book yet they are all different. You focused on different aspects of the book such as the first one the author's writing style. In this one you were able to write about the character more. Also since this one is about the character, and its your third one you really expanded on how Joe changed. Great job!
ReplyDeleteTerrence,
ReplyDeletegood job, you used good evidence to support your idea. I wonder though, what would one do with an Ipod in the 1912? There was no Itunes at the time, I hope he had a charger.
